I've been doing a lot 'on the fly' lately so I did want to stop and really say with meaning 'sorry for your loss'. I know losing a pet is hard and the actual process of letting go is harder. I can't even hear about other people losing a pet without crying. I dread the day I have to say goodbye to my baby. She was obviously incredibly lucky to be part of your family.

Owning pets is easy. People do it without thinking every day. Loving pets like they were a true member of the family, thinking about them when your not home, missing them when they are not with you and doing the best by them that you possibly can is what puppies like Kyra and all others only wish for in their lifetime. It is so tough sometimes that we ask ourselves "why would we put ourselves through this, again and again and again"...because they need us to. It is such a beautiful feeling to be adored by our furry friends - I cannot think of a day that goes by that I am not completely smitten with the kitties, yes, even when they are bad. Knowing that she died with you both in the car before the vet is so amazing - you are so lucky it did not have to be in an unfamiliar place..Its all we can do, just to love & care for them and be with them when they need us and you did an amazing job doing all those things..I hope the hurt lessens a little each day and you find happiness once again snuggling up to her partners in crime! XOXOXOX
