BAO Item of the Week (April 30 - May 6)

In the past, BAO artists have suggested the color theme for this twice-a-month challenge. We're changing things up, however, and asking our fans to suggest three-color combinations.  The "winning" combination will be picked by random number generator on May 3. The name of the winning contributor will be included in the May 15th post.  To share your ideas with us, just leave a comment on the blog post here.  I look forward to seeing your color suggestions!

BAO Item of the Week and More New Work

It may be Spring, but I don't think it will reach 60 degrees today. Brrrrr. This morning, at 5:30, I definitely questioned the wisdom of having shut down the heater for the season. That's Mother Nature for you - always full of surprises, some good, some not so good. LOL

The neighboring pecan orchard was happy this morning, however; it was getting water, beautiful, fresh, cold, clear well water.

Yesterday was cold and windy. Why am I telling you this? Well, to explain my choice for Bead Art Originals Item of the Week, of course.

My Earth Day Gift to You - Mirrored African Mudcloth

I can't think of a better day to share this Mirrored African Mudcloth pattern with you :) I created this design several years ago but never got around to actually beading it up (I've been busy, okay!). I hate to see it just sit there, unused, so I'm giving it you today for "personal and commercial use." Please note that there are conditions attached to its use; they are outlined below (in the red print, so you can't miss them ;o).

Suggested delica beads to use with this pattern:
1. DB-1051 Iris Matte Metallic Bronze
2. DB-0310 Matte Black
3. DB-0351 Matte White
4. DB-0340 Satin Matte Metallic Copper

The graph shows one full repeat. Repeat this as many times as you need to reach the length you desire. To print, click on the graph and then print that page.
