I woke up this morning to an email from Cindy Earl Higgins of Higgins Design Studio letting me know that she had pulled my name from her hat (read: fabric bowl, gotta love fabric bowls!!!) as a second surprise winner in her give away.
Cindy is a beader and a potter and she is giving me one of her brand new large mugs once they're done. I love mugs. I love hand made ceramics. And mine will be black porcelain, dipped in turquoise. yay! These will give you an idea of how beautiful it will be:

That mug at the front corner of the tray, on the right, will be the little cousin to your new larger mug! Same glaze! I start casting tonight and should have some finished sometime next week! I am SOOOO excited! I am touched by your words describing my pottery. Like some others, I have trouble viewing my own work that way. I know I like it, but unsure of what others think (even after 20 years of doing this!)
