BAO Item of the Week (August 6-12) and More Artisan Clay

Sorry I didn't get this post up yesterday. It was a busy day. Some of that "busy" was from finishing up the third of the new pieces I'm sending to Kristie Roeder of Artisan Clay for her booth at Philly Bead Fest later in the month.

I wove the bezel in right-angle-weave but finished it off with a little peyote to get that snug fit.  The bail is RAW as well; the rope is twisted ndebele using size 11 delicas and size 15 rocailles. This was a challenge for my eyes. Those silver-lined yellow beads are BRIGHT!

And because I've been working on pieces for Kristie, I haven't had a chance to bead anything new for the Bead Art Originals Items of the Week. Instead, I chose this favorite cuff:
