This piece is so sizzling hot that I almost named it Tango in Orange and Fuchsia. These photographs do not do the bracelet justice, but they are as good as I could get them.

Let Me Take You Back to Kindergarten!

Remember those games we used play that taught us our shapes: circles, squares, triangles? Well, this new cuff reminds me of those, which is probably why I named it

Learn Your Shapes

While I'm enchanted by the whimsy of the shapes, I love the drama of the black and gold. If the kindergarten games aren't what appeal to you, perhaps you could see these as carvings on an ancient monolith. I'm torn between the two, actually, which should tell you a little about me. And if that little bit of trivia doesn't enlighten you about me, perhaps my favorite quote from Whitman will help: Do I contradict myself. Very well then, I contradict myself. (I am large, I contain multitudes.)

Tuesday's Triangle and More

Here it is, February 24th, and the projected high temperature for today is in the mid 80s. How is that possible? I do so love where we live. (And don't go throwing those snowballs at me! They're not good for your monitor ;p)

Another Tuesday must mean another triangle! I present

Blue Diamonds on Turquoise

Your eyes are not deceiving you. I did something a little different with this one and let the tops of the blue diamonds stand out as a little added scallop effect.

I loved this combination of matte turquoise and matte medium blue so much that I just had to do a little (lot) more with it. The result is

If you're familiar with my work, you might recognize this as a wider version of my "Tribute to Etsy" design.

I'm working on a fairly dramatic black cuff (with gold circles and triangles) right now, but as soon as I'm done with that I will select some orange and pink beads to create another Duet. Or perhaps grey and black? Any opinions? :D

Happy Sunday!

It's a gorgeous, if smelly Sunday here in southern New Mexico. Smelly? you ask. Well, the other blonde in the family

managed to kill (read: massacre!) a skunk early this morning, and the smell has permeated every last inch of our property. It has even found its way INTO our vehicles.

On a happier note, I listed this wonderful new cuff - Mirrored Orange Swirls on Steel - in my store yesterday.

I hope your Sunday is as sunny as this cuff is orange!
