Tuesday's Triangle and 500

The best laid plans...

Yesterday, I wove this rather large peyote triangle:

My intent was not to list this in my stores but rather to use it as a gift for whoever purchased the 500th item in my Sand Fibers etsy store. Last night, my sales were at 496. I was planning on writing a big blog post announcing that this

would be my gift to whoever gave me that 500th sale.

As I was logging on to my computer this afternoon (migraine left me in bed this morning), however, I received transaction notices for sales 497, 498, 499 and, yes, 500. Yay! But now I'm left with merely being able to report to you that I had my 500th sale and that that person (a good friend, which makes this perfect!) is receiving the above, embellished coin purse along with their purchase. Funny how those things sometimes work out.

Happy Cinco de Mayo, mi amigas! :D

  1. Holy moly! I have to say I was surprised you weren't doing some kind of special thing for your 500th. It didn't even occur to me to check your blog before I checked out -- I was so intent on being #500 on 5/5. :-)

That triangle coin purse is sooooo neat, too!!! Not only do I get a really cool fiber cuff in my favorite colors, but I get a SandFibers special triangle.

  6. Thank you, all! :D

Theresa, #500 was a fabric cuff, nothing beaded: http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=15873066
