The Power of Color

If you're familiar with my work, my style, then you probably know that I like to take a pattern and bead it up in several different color palettes. I'm almost always pleasantly surprised by the results. It's even more fun when the colors are suggested by someone else, as was the case with two of my latest creations.

I love my Bargello Hearts pattern, but I haven't explored many color variations with it because it is so very time-consuming to make. When a wonderful new customer asked me if I could make it using pinks, I jumped at the chance.

The first Bargello Hearts cuff used a deep red and gold for a very dramatic effect:

Red Bargello Hearts Peyote Cuff (2189)

The next used two shades of green with two different copper beads, for a no less dramatic, but definitely different piece:

Green Bargello Hearts Peyote Cuff (2289)

This latest, pink rendition of the pattern has substituted romance for the drama. It is soft, sweet, and utterly feminine:

Pink Bargello Hearts Peyote Cuff (2383)

The same customer who wanted Pink Bargello Hearts asked for a custom Ruffles cuff as well. She asked me what green delicas I had in stock. After looking over my list of 45 greens, she found two that she really loved, but just couldn't pick between them. I suggested we use both, with wonderful results:

Custom Order - Ruffles Peyote Cuff (2386)

Because both of these custom pieces turned out so well, I have decided to offer made to order versions of them in my Etsy and my 1000Market shops.
