A New Line for Sand Fibers and a Challenge for YOU!

I've missed working with the "fiber" part of my world lately and so I thought it high time for a new line of Sand Fibers cuffs: beaded fabric cuffs. Here's the prototype:

Prototype for New Beaded Fabric Cuff Line

Prototype for New Beaded Fabric Cuff Line

Prototype for New Beaded Fabric Cuff Line

The prototype was actually my "surprise gift" for the person who bought last week's BAO Item of the Week, so it is no longer available...

I have, however, made a similar one (same fabric, same beads) that I will send to the person who comes up with the perfect name for this new line of cuffs. SO...leave your suggestion, your name, and a way to contact you in the comments below. I will make my choice at noon central time next Wednesday and will announce it and the winner here.

Get your creative thinking caps on...and remember, you are naming a line of fabric cuffs, not an individual cuff...

UPDATE: Multiple submissions are allowed, encouraged even!

  1. Naming our beadwork is always so hard. So here is my geeky contribution:

    Sinuosity ~ 1. The quality or condition of being sinuous. 2. A bending or curving shape or movement.

    That is if they will all be curvy like the prototype.

  2. The BBC Cuff by SandFibers!

    B = Beaded
    B = Batik
    C = Cuff or Creation or Carol

    Can I keep thinking and submit more than one suggestion? I really like this and would be thrilled to have one to show off for you!

  4. Inspired by the acronym above, i´d suggest "BFF" standing for "Beaded Fiber(s) Fantasy" or "Beaded Fiber Flow"

  5. I would suggest the name "The Tiffany Cuff" because it reminds me of the shape of the eye mask Audrey Hepburn wore in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and Tiffanys is also associated with very classy jewellery too!

  12. You know I have trouble naming my own cuffs! But I do like Eva's BFF idea, then you could market it with lines like "A BFF for your BFF!" :)

  14. I kept thinking sedimentary layers, horizons or wavelengths when I saw these gorgeous cuffs.

    Good luck with finding the right name for them. The person who 'nails it' with the right name and receives one, will be a very lucky person indeed! (God I hope it's me! :-))

  18. How about "Sandwoven Cuffs".

  19. How about "Colors Outside the Lines" or "Coloring Outside the Lines". That's what jumped to mind when looking at the cool stitching, but then moving to focus on the lovely fabric underneath. It would also give a buyer the sense of nonconformism;-)

  23. OK I thought of a couple more

    Beadric cuff

    Fab bead lous cuff

    Best of both cuff

    Adorned Textile Cuff

    That's all I have! I think :O)

  24. I thought of more as I was taking my Hour and half drive to work

    Woven Compliments Collection or cuffs

    Woven Delights

    Woven Treasury's

    I picked woven because the fabric is woven and the beads are woven. I'm sure you figured that out without me telling you.

    I "think" I'm done now :O)
