African Mudcloth, Part the Second

I FINALLY finished the promised cuff and got it photographed and listed this morning. Whew. This is another one that really took much longer to bead up than I had expected, having perhaps more to do with my vertigo and headaches than the pattern itself. Regardless of how long and why, I am super pleased with the results and hope you (and some buyers!) will be as well.

  1. Sorry about the vertigo and headaches. I totally feel your pain there CD! The end result...stunning! The cuff is absolutely beautiful and the pendant is perfect!

  2. So, so beautiful!! I admire you and the amount of detail work you do. Do you use a magnifier of any sort to help you? As I get older I find the glasses just don't cut it all the time. :-)

    Alice, for beadweaving and sewing (any detail work, actually) I find myself having wear 2.75 magnification reading glasses. I definitely know I'm getting older... lol

  6. my curiosity was piqued. just had to find out what an 'african mud cloth cuff' was. so happy i did. very beautiful work and i think nothing was lost in translation. great work!
